GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard - the world’s leading certification for organic textiles.
When something is GOTS certified, it means:
- The cotton is genuinely organic (grown without harmful chemicals or GMOs)
- The entire process - from farm to finished product - is strictly monitored
Harmful chemicals are restricted or banned during production
- Workers are treated fairly under recognised labour standards
To carry the label, products must contain a high percentage of organic fibres (usually 70–95%+) and meet strict environmental and ethical criteria.
In short: GOTS means your fabric is truly organic, low-tox, and responsibly made.

We use mostly organic cotton, blended with a small amount of elastane, so your Powerpants can move with your body, stay in place, and hold their shape over time. Pure cotton on its own can lose structure, stretch out, and feel less supportive after washing and wearing.
That small blend means you get the best of both worlds:

Gentle stretch for comfort and fit (no sagging, no sliding, no constant adjusting)
In short: we didn’t go 100% cotton because we want your undies to feel amazing all day.

That said, if your Powerpants aren’t quite the right size or fit, please don’t suffer in silence. We genuinely want you to be comfortable, so we’re happy to offer a one‑time size replacement free of charge.
